First of all, eating butter straight just weirds me out. Eating things cooked in butter tastes delicious. Including coffee! Here’s what I do for a carb-free breakfast.

  • Take one packet of Starbucks Instant Coffee (I use Pike) or your favorite ground coffee. Dump the packet of coffee into a blender, magic bullet, whatever you have.
  • Use 4oz of butter. Place it into the same blender you put the coffee in.
  • Boil 2 cups of water. Pour the scorching hot water into the same blender you put the coffee and butter in. Put the lid on and blend for 10-15 seconds.
  • Pour over ice or straight into a coffee mug and enjoy!
